Scholarships

How to apply for a scholarship

Scholarships are very competitive so only top students can expect to be successful. A prerequisite is to have first class honours in your bachelors degree or a masters by research (not coursework). Publications, particularly journals, are also considered.

Students will need to undergo the standard graduate admissions process at The University of Sydney. The application process is described at sydney.edu.au/courses/doctor-of-philosophy-engineering-and-it

For your application you will need to write a research proposal. Applicants are requested to take an existing proposed topic (or their own) and make a draft research proposal. This is part of the selection process and your proposal will be used to assess your suitability for conducting research. Information concerning how to apply to the University of Sydney, as well as fees and scholarships are at the Postgraduate research degrees
