Biography

Specialising in microwave photonics, photonic high-performance sensing, optoelectronic sensing technologies, and integrated photonics.

Associate Professor Liwei Li is with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Sydney. Her current research encompasses microwave photonics, photonic high-performance sensing, optoelectronic sensing technologies, nanophotonics, integrated photonics, photonic signal processing, fiber optics, and phased-array antennas. She is an active member of the Research and Prototype Foundry at the University of Sydney Nanoscience Hub. She has rich experience in the processing of radio-frequency, microwave, and millimeter wave signals directly in the optical domain.
